Purk liter working with a falling load of the PH-3 model is a specialized product, with the help of which a mass of 1 liter of grain is determined (determination of grain nature), in accordance with GOST 10840. The device simulates a falling flow and determines bulk density (grain weight immersed in volume one liter).

Grain nature is the mass of 1 liter of grain expressed in grams (1 g / l of grain).

Purkha PH-3 makes it possible to calculate the volume of containers during storage and transportation of grain. Since the nature of grain is one of the main indicators of the classification of wheat, the presence of purka in research is necessary.

The procedure for working with PH-3 purka to determine the nature of grain1

Perform sampling in accordance with GOST 13586.3-83.

Install a gauge in the flange on the table.

Push the knife all the way into the slit of the measurement.

Place the falling load on the knife, with the serial number up.

Measure the filler.

Place the filling cylinder with the filled measured grain on the filler.

Press the lock lever of the funnel damper (after this, the grain will be poured into the filler).

Remove the knife from the measurement (the knife extracts sharply, it is not allowed to shake the measurement, as this will affect the measurement result).

After the measured grain falls with the falling load, insert the knife back into the measuring slot.

Close the funnel opening with a shutter, remove the filling cylinder from the filler.

Remove the filler.

Take the measure from the table, pour out the remaining grain that remains on the knife, remove the knife and weigh the measure with grain on the balance with a resolution of 0.1 g, pre-calibrated with a measure and a falling load.

The mass of grain, expressed in grams, which remains in the standard and is the nature of the grain.

If the falling load is at the bottom of the measurement, and the knife is in the gap of the measurement, then the volume of measurement between them will be 1 liter.
