IDK-7 Gluten Deformation Meter

designed to determine the quality of gluten in wheat and wheat flour

The IDK - 7 gluten deformation meter is designed to determine the quality of gluten of wheat grains and wheat flour of baking and pasta grinding by the magnitude of its deformation under the influence of a load of a certain value for a given time interval.

The IDK - 7 gluten deformation meter is used in laboratories of grain receiving enterprises, elevators, flour mills, laboratories of the state bread inspection, varietal testing breeding stations, as well as other enterprises whose activities require evaluating the quality of wheat and products derived from it.

IDK - 7 gluten deformation meter manufactured by Altair Plus Private Enterprise has a number of advantages compared to similar devices of other manufacturers. Namely:

- the device has an automatic self-diagnosis mode both at the time of switching on and during operation of the device;

- the device has an automatic calibration mode, which in turn allows to increase the accuracy of the device regardless of the degree and uniformity of wear of mechanical parts. The automatic calibration mode is carried out after a predetermined number of measurements, after turning on / off the device, and when the device exits sleep mode (with long idle time);

- two-line, character LCD display to display all the necessary information (user prompts, measurement results, settings, self-diagnosis errors);

- all-metal durable dustproof (welded) case;

- dustproof / waterproof buttons (degree of protection of ip66 ISO buttons);

Technical characteristics of the IDK-7 gluten deformation meter:

Gluten strain limits from 10.55 mm to 0 mm; or from 0 to 150.7 conventional units
Strain measurement error?.

The permissible absolute basic error limits are not more than +0.035 mm (+0.5 srvc. Units) in the entire range of deformation measurements.

The limits of the permissible absolute additional measurement error when the mains voltage deviates from the nominal value in the range from 100 V to 250 V are not more than + 0.035 mm (+0.5 conventional units) in the entire measurement range.

The limits of permissible absolute measurement error caused by the deviation of the ambient temperature from normal in the range from + 10 ° C to + 35 ° C, not more than +0.035 mm (+0.5 conventional units) in the entire measurement range.

The size of the load 20mm.

The permissible deviation of the load stroke is not more than + 1mm.
The value of the weight of the movable calibrated load is 120 g (1,176 N).

The permissible deviation of the weight of the movable calibrated load is from –5 g to + 2 g (from –4.90 × 10–2 N to + 1.96 × 10–2 N).
The exposure time of the movable calibrated load on the sample is 30 sec.

The limits of the permissible deviation of the load exposure time are not more than +0.5 sec.
The mass of the device is no more than 2.5 kg.
Overall dimensions no more (length x width x height) - 205 x 150 x230
The supply voltage range is from 100 V to 250 V from the AC mains and with a frequency of 50 (+1) Hz.
The maximum power consumption of the device is not more than 20 watts,

rated power consumption of not more than 9 watts.

Wipe the polished surface of the table and the tared load with a soft cloth dampened in water, and then wipe the indicated surfaces with a dry soft cloth. After that, lower the calibrated load on the table. Turn on the device. Wait until the self-calibration mode ends. Measurements can be carried out after inscription on the indicator "Start measurement?". Put the prepared gluten sample strictly in the center of the table. Press the button “MEASUREMENT”. Make sure that there is a drop in the calibrated load on the test sample, and the countdown has begun on the screen.

After 30 seconds, the tared load will rise, the measurement result will appear on the indicator.

Remove the gluten test sample from the table. Remove gluten from the table and tared load with a soft damp cloth. If necessary, prepare a new sample.

If the interval between measurements is long enough, then you can click the PARKING button. The device goes into sleep mode. At the same time, the calibrated load will slowly drop to the table, and the backlight will turn off on the indicator.
