"Quartz" - analogue of the device Chizhova

A device for determining the moisture content of samples of food raw materials and products

The device "QUARTZ" is designed to determine the moisture content of food raw materials and products in accordance with the requirements of GOST 21094 and GOST 3626. Using the device, you can make drying of food raw materials and products at a given temperature for a specified time.

The device is a functional analogue of the Chizhova device.

According to the results of weighing the raw materials before and after drying, moisture is calculated.

The principle of operation of the device is the evaporation of moisture from food raw materials at a given temperature for a given time.

The device consists of a block for drying samples of food raw materials and an electronic control unit.

During operation of the device, the operator sets the desired temperature and time. After heating the drying unit to a predetermined temperature, a sound signal sounds. The operator should place the test piece between the upper and lower plates of the drying unit and start the device timer.
At the end of the set time, three long beeps will sound.
The workpiece is removed. The moisture content of the raw material is determined according to the method specified in the current operating instructions and devices.

The presence of a reverse timer and an audible alarm at the end of the drying time and when reaching the set temperature.

I reducing the supply voltage may increase the duration of heating of the appliance.
II may increase as the supply voltage decreases.

Connect the appliance to the mains and set the desired heating temperature. Press HEAT / START. The drying unit will start to heat up..

When the appliance is heated to the set temperature, the appliance beeps and the temperature indicator flashes. The green TEMPERATURE LED will be on continuously.

Then place the workpiece between the plates of the drying unit and press the "HEAT / START" button. The red WORK LED will light up. The green TEMPERATURE LED will flash in a rhythmic beep. The countdown of the time set on the timer will start. Three long beeps will sound after the specified time has elapsed. The green LEDs go out. The workpiece is removed from the drying unit. The three-tone long beeps will be repeated every 3 minutes until the instrument user presses the HEAT / START button.
The method of determining the moisture content of food raw materials and products using the device "Quartz" must be performed in the order specified in the current operating instructions and devices.
